Privacy Policy
What Veyro collects, how it’s used, and the control you have. The short version: your data is yours, we never sell it, and you can delete it. Veyro is made and run by Samneon Ltd, which is responsible for your data.

What we collect
- Your account: your email, and your confirmation that you’re 18 or older. (Accounts made before 2 October 2026 may also hold the date of birth given then.)
- What you save: the things you ask Veyro to remember — messages, memories, notes, documents, reminders, and voice input if you use it.
- Basic technical info: app version, device type, language and time zone, and error reports, so the app runs reliably.
How we use it
We use your information for one purpose: to run Veyro for you. That means storing what you save, and sending your content to the AI providers that generate Veyro’s responses. We also use it to keep your account working and to fix problems. We do not sell your data, and we do not use it to target you with ads.
How your privacy actually works
Who we share it with
Only the service providers we need to run Veyro, acting on our instructions. To answer you, what you ask — your messages, voice, and the photos or files you share — goes to our AI providers: OpenAI and Google (answers and voice — which one depends on the feature) and Google (pictures and room designs), reached directly. They process it only to produce Veyro’s replies and don’t use it to train their models. When Veyro looks something up on the web for you, the search runs through our AI providers’ own web search: OpenAI’s, or, for some answers, Google Search. When Google Search runs it, Google keeps the question and the answer for up to 30 days to do it and to keep the search working. To show you real photos, a short search phrase written from your request (never your message itself) goes to the image-search service Serper, or to Brave Search when Serper can’t help. The search itself is sent from our server, not your device. Our hosting provider stores your data securely. You agree to this when you accept our Terms of Use and this policy in the app. We don’t share your content with advertisers or data brokers. We may disclose information if the law genuinely requires it.
Cookies and storage on your device
On your device, Veyro keeps what keeps you signed in, the email you last signed in with, your settings, such as your theme and colours, and a copy of your recent chats, notes, memories, reminders, saved documents and profile, so the app opens straight away and nothing you write is lost before it reaches us. That copy stays in the app’s own storage on this device. Signing out clears your chats, memories, documents and profile from it; your notes stay, kept under your own account, so nothing unsent is lost, and reminders you’ve already set can still go off on this device. There are no advertising or tracking cookies, and no analytics or session-recording tools — nothing that follows you around the web or builds a profile of you. The fonts on our website come from our own domain, so opening a page contacts no one else. In the app, the small site icons beside an answer’s sources come through our own server too. A photo from the web that Veyro shows you in an answer loads straight from the web, as any picture online does: from the site that hosts it, or from the image search’s own small copy on Google’s or Brave’s servers. If we ever want to store anything that isn’t needed to run Veyro, we’ll ask you first.
Keeping and deleting your data
We keep your data only while your account is active. When you delete it — from the app or by emailing us — it is permanently removed from our systems, not just hidden. Any content that was sent to our AI provider to write a reply is temporary on their side: they don’t train on it, and it ages out automatically. The only things we may keep after you delete are the narrow records the law requires — such as payment records — which are never your chats, notes, or memories.
Your rights
Wherever you live, you can ask us to show you the data we hold, correct it, export it, or delete it. If you’re in the EU/UK (GDPR) or California (CCPA), those laws give you these rights explicitly, and we honor them for everyone. To make a request, email support@veyro-pa.com.
Children
Veyro is for people 18 and older. We don’t knowingly collect data from anyone younger. If you believe someone under 18 has given us data, email us and we’ll delete it.
Security
We protect your data with encryption and access controls. No system is ever perfectly secure, but we take this seriously and work to keep your information safe. When you choose a password, the app checks whether that password has appeared in a known data leak on another website, using the free Have I Been Pwned service. Only the first five characters of a scrambled fingerprint of the password leave your device; the password itself never does, and nothing about you is sent. If it has appeared, we tell you, and you can keep it or pick another.
Your notes are not read
Notes are different from the rest of Veyro, and we hold them to a stricter rule. Veyro does not read your notes to answer you. Ask a question in Chat and nothing from your notebook is sent to the AI, looked at, or used as context — not the text, not the titles, not a summary of them.
There is exactly one exception, and it is one you start yourself: when you ask Veyro to work on a note — rewrite it, tidy it, continue it, answer a question about it — that note’s text is sent so it can do what you asked. Only that note. Never another one alongside it, and never after you have finished.
Locked notes
A note you lock is encrypted on your own device before it is sent anywhere, with a key derived from the password you choose. We use PBKDF2-SHA-256 at 250,000 rounds to derive the key and AES-256-GCM to encrypt the note.
Two things follow from that, and we would rather say them plainly than let you find out later. The note’s title stays readable so you can still find the note on the wall and in your list, so keep anything sensitive in the body rather than the title. And if you forget the password, the note cannot be recovered by us or by anyone else. That is what makes the lock worth having.
Notes you have not locked are not encrypted this way. Like your chats and memories, they are encrypted in transit and at rest, and Veyro reads them automatically to answer you, as described above.
Where your data is processed
Veyro and its providers may process your data in countries other than yours, including the United States. We take steps to protect it wherever it’s handled.
Changes
If we update this policy in a meaningful way, we’ll tell you in the app. The “last updated” date above always reflects the current version.
